First, it is mostly not your fault that you need to lose weight. The way society has taught you to eat is responsible for making obesity (according to Atlantic Monthly magazine) the #1 health problem in the world replacing hunger and infectious disease. So you are a victim of this pandemic (epidemic) of obesity.
So you need to completely re-learn how to eat so you won't be a victim anymore. Learn everything that is on the site below. Do this and you can be thin. Do this not and you will have what you have now. You will learn about losing bodyfat, retained water and a 3rd thing. The reason there is so much info on this website is because I need to spend a lot of words to prove that many current ideas about losing weight are wrong.

It takes time to lose weight and cant be done by excersize alone, you need to eat a well balanced diet with lots of fresh fruit and vegetables, cereals, lean meat, low fat dairy etc. you need to cut the amount of fat and sugar in your diet and alway read the nutritional information on packets.
Also, do not weight yourself to often

Eat small portion meals at least 6 or 7..HAVE one for breakfast,2nd.one at break 3rd.one at lunch and so on.Don't go to a gym if your not happy..Get up early in the morning.at least an 1.5hrs. before work and go running for 45mins. to start and slowly work up to an hour..Stay on your small meals and your running in the morning and you will feel alot better and look health..You have to stick to this to work..Believe me it's worth all the pain at first and you will feel GREAT....

Watch what you eat. Sometimes even if you exercise, if what you're eating is the wrong kind of food you will not be able to loose weight.
