conventionally a guy should pay,but of late the trend is that she can pay half the time if she wills and plz allow her to do so,its about her self respect.
if she earns she can spend too.
offer to pay but don't insist
let it b a 50-50 issue.

If you're broke and she's willing to pay that's okay. As long as the favour gets returned and you treat her once in a while with no expectations.

I believe that men are always supposed to pay, but when she askes if she can pay, you should say "no it's okay I got it" and when she goes "no it's on me this time" you should say "are you sure?" things like that. I don't always expect my boyfriend to pay, I like to take him out too because I love him soo much.
