White gene pool needs refreshing?

I have heard a lot lately about how whites should be glad that other racial groups are coming to America because the new groups will "refresh the white gene pool." I am not sure why theses comments are being made. The last time I checked, the white "gene pool" wasn't in need of refreshing. Any thoughts on this? I don't have a problem with people dating whoever they want, I just don't like people implying that white people are members to a stagnant gene pool. That is just horse poo.

I'm no expert on genetics, but unless your not involved in incest, the gene pool works perfectly fine without any interference from us, let nature take its own course.....

Perfectly baked, I think your brain is perfectly baked....You think minorities are after all whites? What are you saying? Minorities come here holding their noses, they don't have a choice.... Define minority? Our ancestors were all minorities...

What these people are probably referring to is the scientific fact that genetic diversity within the same gene pool(such as that of a sub species) makes the general health of the species better.( for example, mutts are generally much healthier than pure breds, because of their diverse genetic traits.) When a gene pool becomes "stagnant," meaning there are no new genes being introduced into the pool, the health of the pool deteriorates due to the fact that each member's genes become more and more similar to those of the other members (Using an extreme example, it's the same reason why, when closely related people have children with each other, the child is unhealthy and mentally challenged, because the genes are too similar.) Thus, to insure healthy offspring, it is usually best to reproduce with someone with genes very different from yours. (just not too different, because at a certain point, you're WAY too far out of your gene pool) However, the fact that those that you referred to mentioned the white's specifically is a bit bizarre. These rules apply to ANY pool, white, black, or even sub-species of turtles.

Wow, well then by that logic every other country in teh world should adopt america's approach and welcome people off all races/ethnicities. Africa is mighty black, that gene pool has got to be getting pretty stagnant too, latin america's the same as is asia, really every country has this so called problem(even assuming that it is a problem). The only difference is America, has done something about it(albeit inadvertently).

Honestly I find the arguement a little ridiculous if it was with regard to inbreeding I think it doesn't really matter after 5-6 generations and there is a big enough population that it should be fine. the only halfway legitimate concern would be that if there wasn't enough movement between continents there would be speciation(division into multiple species) of the human race as a result of isolation. So watch out folks, our genes are gonna be .00000001% different than those of Europeans in about 10,000 years.

All I know is that It's good to have mixed genes. If a black person and a white person have a baby together, there is a higher chance that that baby will be healthier than a baby made by two people of the same race. There's less of a chance of birth defects and gene mutation (like downs sydrome).

Race doesn't matter anyway. We should see people as people and not as colors. It doesn't matter if there are too many white people or too many brown people or too many etc. etc.

Well I am not White, and I do agree that at times minorities abuse their "elbow room," as it were. It seems that all minorities are after the White race all the time, which is wrong. Most minorites I've know are all about their racial pride, so it is only fair that Whites are allowed the same thing. You know, a lot of minority groups form their own cliques. You could also try that.

The people who make those statements are anti-white racists. Don't take any advice they give on any subject. People like that believe all white people are inferior based on the fact we are melanin challenged. They think we all fit the dumb blonde stereo type, the red neck stereotype, the dumb hick stereotype, the inbreeding (cousin marrying) stereotype, and that we are all racists who make all of our decisions based on skin color. They are nuts. White people are quite diverse and have plenty of fresh genes in their own gene pool. We also have a declining population, so eat, drink and MARRY and have lots of white children. And no, there is nothing racist about that.

If you listen hard enough, you'll find that the 'minorities' in america are racist as HELL. I was unprepared for it when I first heard it, there's people out there preaching ALL kinds of hate on whites...I had NO clue it was like that, but some really do hold such views. Read up on groups like 'la raza', they really DO think they're 'all that, and a bag of chips'...and it's in the music, too, that attitude...just something to be mindful of, some have extreme views on race and really do think whites are bad etc.

look at the people making these statements, they need their brains refreshed. theirs nothing wrong with the white gene pool, but whites do need to stop mixing brown, black and all the other colors they are mixing with, into our pool.thats what stananting us white people. lets keep it white.

Only racist and self hating people say that. It is shoved down our throats all the time, I remember even when we were kids in 4th grade they were pushing this on us trying to make us hate ourselves. ofcourse the result of this is wiggers and goths. I didnt figure this out until last year when it all sunk in that there seems to be some mass conspiracy to target whites.

There were only 250,000 Negroes brought here as slaves. They all came from the middle west coast of Africa. They now number 32,000,000. So which race needs "refreshing"?
