I get shaky, my heart beats very fast and hard, my hands sweat, I can't breath/speak, constantly worry about when I will get nervous again, and I become nauseous. It usually happens when I have to speak/perform in front of people or just by myself. It even happened once when I was meeting a group of new people. I almost always have a sick feeling in my stomach even if I'm not really doing anything that should make me nervous. I've tried snapping rubber bands on my wrist, or digging my nails into my skin to take my mind off of the situation, but nothing really helps. I've also tried talking to my mom about it many times so I could maybe get a doctors appointment, but she doesn't think it's a real problem. How can I get help?

You said that yourself: your moms doesn't THINK it's a real problem. "Think", it's just want she thinks. You know your own body and what you are thinking.

Therefore, I think you should get help. And you can talk to a counsellor. And why do you need your mom approval to see a doctor?

Please don't wait until the issue gets worst, go get help now asap.

Take care ^^!

I think you can make doctor appointment, even if you are 15. Try it, you never know if you don't try.
If you cannot, talk to your school counsellor about this. I suggest you talk to your school counsellor, no matter if you can or cannot make doctor appointment.

Anxiety is be a very frightening problem. I am anxious almost constantly; most of the time I don't even know why I am anxious. I was diagnosed with anxiety about five years ago, along with severe depression. Recently, I have been having some very serious panic attacks.

These attacks have been accompanied by vomiting, intense shakiness, and the worst of all, I stop breathing (of course, not by choice) then I pass out.

This is very serious and you need to see a physician. If this is not evaluated and treated soon, the problem will only get worse. Tell your mother that you are very concerned about your health and you would really appreciate an appointment with a physician. If she will not get you an appointment, make one yourself, if you are able to.

Don't give up hope. You do not have to live your life like this. I hope that everything works out well. Good luck.

This is a simple technique that will help you calm your overactive mind.
Place your fingertips on your forehead, above each eye. Press firmly for three to four minutes while taking some deep breaths. Repeat aloud or in your mind: "I am okay no matter what happens. Everyone else is going to be okay no matter what happens."
Release your hands and shake them gently for a moment or two.
Use this process several times a day when you start to notice stress and start to worry. This technique helps blood come back into the frontal part of your brain, which is the part of our brain that is calm and knows there is a solution to our life's situation.

It's a serious problem and you should get help before it gets worse. There is medication you can take when your anxiety attacks start. I know because my mom has them and has had them for most of my life.
