I was rasied christian..i changed my religion through no help of anyone else. It was a decision based on my choice. My wife is a christian so i ask for her. I do not drink, smoke, do anything illegal. I have fought twice in a war for this country as a combat medic, i have saved many lives. I live a very good life support my community. I treat my wife like a goddess. So my question is, is the bible so shallow that it doesn't recognize the type of life you lead and only decides based on where you believe we came from. And if a christian man lead a horrible life and asked forgiveness would he go to heaven? If all this is true, then for what reason would you want to be a part of that? I would rather go to hell than be part of something that would allow such things. Sounds alot like facisim, agree with us or be tortured. And no im not saying the christian faith is a facisim, just making an educated observation based of my question.

I'm afraid you are mistake if you interpet this question as a cry for help and a desire to be converted. I am wiccan by my choice and i doubt there is anything on this planet that will change that. I personally do not believe in a hell so the concern for going to hell is not a part of this. The concern is for my wife who is concerned for my soul. At the same time i am concerned for her, because, and i appologies for this comparison but it fits from what i have heard, but it is sad that what you do doesn't matter but what you believe. There are many people and organizations in our history that rule by threat and fear and im sorry to say this sounds very much like one of them. What is the difference between the third reich saying, "follow me or die" and a priest and/or pastor saying, "follow him or die?" Yes i know the difference is divinity but what does it say that the worst man in earth history has the same approach as the God so many americans worship. Its ok for God but not you...:(

I am not the greatest Christian, and I don't usually have a high tolerance for non-believers. You obviously are a good guy and a decent human being. It sounds to me like you earned paradise by what you said, but I ain't the boss, either!!
You are selfish for making your wife worry, but then she's just your wife in a legal sense not spiritual, as God wouldn't bless a pagan marriage. As far as the third reich analogy we Christians do not have a zog machine, so it's a real, real shaky comparison.
Jesus is the only way. He gave us all all have the free will to decide. A common misconception is that if a bad guy is Christian he doesn't have to account for his sins but everybody does. Keep leading a good life maybe something will change for you. Some people are lucky enough to have a sign or something.
To answer your question, we peeps are here to serve the Lord.....Maybe this link will clear a little up.

I've known a few Wiccans in my life and you sir are nothing like them. You seem inteligent for a change. My Wiccan friends tend not to be all too bright, I must say.
I understand your question; how can you condemn a man for his beliefes when he lives a good life?
Being Wiccan I assume you'll take me seriousely when I give my testimonial as it involves a rather preternatural nature.
I'm a Satanist. That is I believe in endulgence. I do not unnecessarily harm others. I do not do random acts of evil. I do believe in violence (and other negative acts) when warented though very few occasions have actually occured. I live my life a nice, friendly guy who cares for the people around him. Nonetheless I do sin and Ido not repent, nor do I accept Jesus as anything more than a misinterpretted historical figure.
On occasion I like to talk on Ouija boards. On many occasions I've been told by spirits ranging from "demons" to "ghosts" to "angels" that I will go to Heaven when I die. The religion I have chosen has no real effect on the destiny of my "eternal soul". The only thing that truly matters is how I actually live my life.
Nothing is true. Nothing is forbidden.

Anyone who has been in a war zone has been in hell. And hell is everywhere (as is heaven) asked the abused woman terrorized in her own home, the sexually abused child, ANY addict. I, too, subscribe to wiccan philosophy and practices. Throughout my life and through every hell mentioned in my answer, I have struggled with this. Finally, after recovering from a horrible addiction I came to believe that God is love. Period. Jesus was a spiritual giant, whether he was the son of God I will not debate, but his teachings are for what we should strive. We are all here to learn and learning to love unconditionally is what all the "bad" in the world is teaching us. It is easy to love the lovable but can you love the sickest amongst us? I'm just a little better about it than I was, say yesterday, but I'm a whole lot better than I was last year. You have no friends, you have no enemies, you only have teachers. You will not go to hell, you have already been there.

None, you don't. With all due respect to your wife and her Christian beliefs ... Wicca is a REAL religion. It can be proved to exist. The fact that YOU are Wiccan proves the reality of the faith. Hell on the other hand is a religious belief, or theory. Its existence cannot be proved. You can't see it, feel it, smell it, hear it, or taste it. So in answer to your question, I ask you this ... How can a REAL person, such as yourself, go to a non-existent place? Simple answer ... Can't be done. Hell is (and I think I can prove this after a fashion but I'm not gonna try here ... to long and to complicated for here and now) a STATE of MIND. Whether or not you go THERE is entirely up to you. ;-) ~ Peace & Blessings ~

The issue isn't how "good" we are but our ability to meet God's demands. If we cannot live up to God's demand of perfection that was demanded under the Old Testament Law, then by definition we are a lawbreaker--we have either done things that we shouldn't or not done things that we should. The Bible says that Jesus is the only One who has satisfied God's demand for perfection, and so He is the only one we can rely upon to pay our debt to God, much as one friend helps another pay a debt that he cannot pay on his own. Nobody but Jesus has the means to satisfy God's demand, and if we rely on our own "goodness" to satisfy God, it won't happen.
As for someone who claims to be a Christian but lives a horrible life, such a person is a Christian only in name, not in reality. Anyone can claim to be a Christian, but if they don't do what Jesus told them to do, it doesn't matter what they claim to be--they aren't really Christians, and they won't get into heaven. (Luke 6:46-49; Matthew 7:21-27). The problem isn't that God will allow hypocrites into heaven--because He won't. The problem is that hypocrites in the church are giving Christianity a bad name. Most people think the Wiccan religion is evil when in fact if they would take the chance to ask or read what Wiccans believe in and how they live their lives they would find that they are good decent and loving people. They believe in good will and letting no harm be done to anyone!Their religion is about nature and all thats in it!Do people realize that Christianity is a man made religion? And the bible is basically amoralistic story showing how to be a good person and treat other people good?

The Bible does not have much good to say of witchcraft. Read Exodus 22:18. Also, being a good person is not what earns you the right to go to Heaven (Ephesians 2:9) If you were raised a Christian as you say you should know that. The only way to Heaven is to accept Jesus as your Savior and repent of your sins.

First of all you stated that you were raised a "Christian" & yet in all that time you were never taught about the Bible?
Jesus said that no man can come to the Father (go to Heaven) unless that man goes thru Jesus Christ. It is NOT by works (or lack of them) by which we are saved. You could not do enough good deeds to get to Heaven. The gift of God is life...thru the blood that Christ paid!! (A FREE gift offered to each of us) I think that if any man truly thought about what the Bible says in regard to hell..then more people would come to know Christ. All the things that you love in this life...like your wife..all that would be GONE forever. Hell is a place of weeping & knashing of teeth...it is outer darkness & flame..there is no hope there..no reprive for good behavior..it is eternal. God does not SEND any one there..they chooose to go there of their own free will....God would rather have you be in Heaven..where Love & all good things..dwell....
look at the choices & seek the truth...it CAN be found!

Oh boy...you've opened a can of worms my friend. I am a Witch myself(although not Wiccan), but I do believe in the Christ. Am I going to hell because I don't go to Church, believe that God is the God/Goddess, and that I practice magick...I think not, because in my opinion, Christ is not regulated to one dogma. I reafirm my faith in Christ daily...am I going to be cheated out of heaven because I wasn't a "good" Christian...I would think not. I do believe that to be "saved" you have to believe in the Christ...especially if you were raised Christian...but does that mean that you have to be a Baptist, or a Methodist, or a Catholic, and ect. ect. No, I personally don't think so. Christ said himself, all those that Believeth in me, shall not die, but have ever-lasting life...not all those that go to a "fill in the blank" church have ever lasting life...or all those that "whatever the issue" will have ever-lasting life...He said all those that Believeth in me.
That's what personally keeps me going...if you would like to talk about it...I'm more than happy to discuss; and no, I'm not saying for me to help you find Christ again...but just to banter back and forth about religion and what we think.
And no, the Bible isn't shallow...people are. Only God can judge because men can easily be corrupted with their own dogmas and "thoughts". I hope this helps.

Look at it this way, when you get to hell you will be in good company, with people such as Buddha and Gandhi. Plus there will be a whole lot of the rest of us with you who lead better lives than some of the so-called righteous ones. Bring the marshmallows and we'll have a party.
