Do guys like girls who read a lot?

I read for fun and collect books. It's one of my hobbies. But I am just interested to know if guys are attracted to nerdy girls like me. ( Even a little?)

I won't speak for all guys, buy I find something attractive about "nerdy" girls. A lot of it is lifestyle I think. Today the women on TV are dancing on tables and being a bit to cavillier with their bodies. I don't necissarily think thats bad, but a girl who does that makes me wonder which VD will I get if I go there? I don't like that idea. Quiet girls are much more respectable, and you really cant label them as "things" as you can with some other girls. The cute quiet girls are much more of a person.

A bookworm is exciting to me personally, because I like to have conversations with women. I don't like Talking about petty social gossip, but I love intelligent conversation. And a quiet girl is generally more willing to allow a guy his own private space. I say this because if I want to go with the guys to a bar or a game or whatever, the quiet girl will be able to find something to do, be it a book, or a movie, or anything really. There is a lot less co-dependancy there, and that makes relationships easier. And I've found that a smart, bookworm girl will be much more likely to join in the activities of her friends, even if they aren't her particular favorites, because it will be fun anyway. My friends wife is a bookworm, and she plays videogames as well as drinking games with us, and she's a real sweetheart. Bit crazy, but nice all the same.
Some guys don't want girls who read. They just want to party but that's their loss. I know a lot of guys who want a girl thats a bit nerdy, and some that prefer it.

Ofcourse, only the superfical men go for whats on the outside, But the true caring and keepers are the ones who are attracted to what on the inside, Excuse the pun, But you cant judge a book by its cover. Personally I find a women i can hold a thoughfull conversation with for more than 2 minutes is more attractive than a supermodel in a mini skirt like jessica simpson, No offense but she is dumb and all eyecandy, nothing more.

most won't care what your hobby is they all start by what you look like then you can figure out which guess want a dumb girl of one with a brain. The ones that want a dumb one can be fun for a little while but you'll get bored pretty quick unless it's all physical

as far as u r cute and good looking any guy will attract u
but as u r into books u need to find a guy who also interested in books
so u both can chat alot with each other on any new articles

reading that much and collecting books the way that u do shows that you have a real passion for it, and i think that it all depends on the guy. but i'm sure you'll find someone who likes you for you. nerdiness and all.

it depends on what kinds of books you are reading.. fashion magazines don't count..

some guys i know loves girls who are very knowledgeble.. and can carry on interesting conversations with them.. have their own opinions..

I won't say u r nerdy if you loves to read.. only guys who are shallow don't know how to appreciate smart girls like u...

ppl will like u for who u r i mean ( n forgive me if i sound a bit show off ) almost everyboys in ma class fancies me n i like to read i can just sit in the sofa n read all day it relaxes me. it ok if u luv to erad but u also gotta have other hobbies like going out instead of stayin in ll the time

Guys like a girl with brains.So yeah i think guys are prolly interested in a girl who reads.And some are even interested in nerds . You'll find him some day. :)

I love intelligent girls that speak their minds, and shy nerdy girls are always cute.
