The REVA comes with a two stage charging process. A full charge takes seven hours and gives a range of 80km. In quick-charge mode, you get an 80 percent top-up, which is good for 65km in just two-and-a-half hours. To accommodate power failures, the on-board computers remember the point at which the battery stopped charging and resume from thereon once the electricity comes back.
