Well, there are a lot of strange things going on in the Muslim religion. The killing part is purely there so you will remain under the control of that religion. It makes it much more difficult for a person to become free of the Muslim religion. So that is why. However, if I were you I think I would risk my life for what I think is the truth. But this is a matter of personal choice. I hope nothing bad will happen to you for even asking this question.

dear respected brother. Why would you think of changing your religion, when you have Jannah at your fingertips.
Why would you denounce truth for falsehood?
what would be worse, your family denounce you, or Allah?
subhanllah, learn more about Islam. the more you learn, the more you love.
perhaps, you wish to change, because you have not tasted the sweetness of faith yet.
dear brother, Ask Allah to guide you sincerely, and see the results. wallahi, Islam is not only a belief, but a way of life. once you life that way of life, Allah will be the eyes in which you see, your legs in which you walk. meaning that Allah will be with your every move, helping you along the way. and then you will feel the most beautiful feelings, that no words can describe.
Why would you trade Jannah for Naar?
I ask Allah subhana wa ta'ala to guide you, and show you the sweetness of faith. ameen!

Hi,
If you trully understand Islam, there is no need to change your religion. I would advise for you to go to some Islamic sites and ask for the answers to your questions. But at the same time Islam teaches that there is no compulsion in religion (no one can force a belief on you). As far as some of the comments here the God of Muslims is who Christians refer to as the Father and Jesus (peace be with him) is believed to be one of his great messengers just like Adam, Abraham, Noah, and Muhammad who is believed to be the His final messenger.
May God be with you

Are you in America or Canada or UK or Australia or New Zealand?
In a nation where the people speak English, you can change our religion freely and anyone who threatens you will be jailed.
On top of that, the fools threatening you need to read the Koran or the Torah or the Bible --they are not in compliance with the rules.

Because if you do you will be an infidel.. and the Koran teaches what happens to infidels.
I know someone in this state... he converted to Christianity... and lost his family in Sudan. I spoke with him 2 weeks ago and is happy he converted... there are valid reasons to being a Christian. But that is not the nature of this question so I won't go into detail.

Hi,
Before doing anything just take time to check these sites:
harunyahya.com and islamqa.com. Islam does not force anybody in submission. If your family is reacting like this it is that they fear for you and have great fear of Allah. Dont be hasty in your decision and if you need more help have questions do email me. You can also ask any question you want on the site islamqa, be patient Allah shall guide you,
I shall pray for you.

Please do not worry on this matter. There is one thing you must know. You do not need a religion to find God. Just ask him to show himself. And if you do not see him, keep asking. He will make sure you see him, but keep in mind, it is not the same of what religions teach. But when you do find Him, you will know, for he will make sure you feel it in your heart. He will flow with his Light and Beauty within. He will show His Love. So please, relax and enjoy what God has to offer. Being open minded is one of the ways to go in recieving Him. Hope this helps. Cheers!

Yes you can change your religion... Conversion is the answer.
But you must accept that Jesus Christ is your savior and God the father.
NO HUMAN BEING, EVEN OUR OWN PARENTS COULD BE MORE HIGHER, POWERFUL AND MERCIFUL THAN THE ONE WHO CREATED AND SAVED US FROM OUR SINS.
You should not worry about what other people will say, its your faith that counts here and the salvation of your soul...

My dear friend if you are asking this question seriously then I bet you were never a Muslim in the first place. I challenge you for it for if you are able to prove you ever were a Muslim, I'll myself convert to what ever faith you chose. Try me out!!!
