Few days back I had I minor cough and I immediately went for a sputum test which showed normal results.This was just maybe a month back and yesterday I was terrified to see blood in my sputum.I think its fresh blood,bright red in colour...I'm shocked and shattered..I immediately went for another test whose results are yet to come..I have not lost weight nor i feel weak nor can i relate to any common T.B symptoms but i just have a bit of cough.But I'm bound to be scared due to the blood in the sputum..not much though.To tell you I had taken the full 6 months course of DOTS without any hesitation but now I don't know what to do.Is it possible that T.B has relapsed im my case?Am I suffering from Drug-resistant T.B?If so what are its symptoms and cure?What should I do?Its much more for me as a 19 year old...I am very depressed so I really need help...Please help me...

Sweetie, I don't think most docs are going to want to diagnose you online. Maybe one will post but if not, call your public health nurse in the morning! Call your doc. Call someone who can talk with you one to one, and let them know how frightened you are.
You already know that TB is very treatable, and there are other things that can cause blood in the sputum. Some of them are not so serious at all, and worrying like this is not going to help your health.
God, I wish I could sit with you and give you a soft place to cry! I can't, but please find someone to help you calm down. Because, in the end, whatever is wrong, you're going to handle it just fine! You already know that, don't you? I do.

Cured TB does not relapse suddenly with blood in the sputum. There can be other causes, such as pneumonia due to strep. pneumoniae.Do not worry. Hope for the best and wait for the test results.
