Is it just to know things are still good? Is it a a security issue? Or is it just a woman thing? (Ok thats more than one question :D)

It is always nice,but saying i love you dont have to come out in just words. Giving you a kiss when he gets home or even a fast hand on the shoulder,or a hello hun or going to work to pay the bills,taking care of some of the house work,they dont injoy going to wok or cutting grass,somthing makes them want to do it and somtimes it cause they love there life and are trying to keep it going.Try finding other things that he might show you he loves you.First thing you need to do is dont tell him he has to say it everyday,cause soon that will get old and he will not want to keep telling you when he knowes he does,it will get old and he will think he doesnt show you anything else that could come from love.and will just end up giving up,hey do you tell him everyday?

I dont need my partner to tell me he loves me. I already know he does hehe. I do like to hear him say it, but once a day may be a bit much. In some cases it could just be insecurity.

some guys don't like saying I love you , either because their not used to it or they realy don't love you to say that. so that's something you only know.
its not just a woman thing, guys like to hear that also, at least once a day is good,

i agree with some of the others we dont need to hear everyday..showing us could be enough to..kiss on the cheek..calling from work for no reason at all..things like that
