My nephew was. I have a vitamin therapy recipe that works great. Contact me and I will give it to you. Also there are some calming and breathing exercises to help you learn to take control of your life. He did and he's doing wonderful now. There are a number of others that are on it now too. In fact the school gives the parents my contact information so that I can explain the therapy to them.

AD/HD is a complex disorder. I got very bored very fast in school and in order to gain attention, I would be the class clown...which got me into more trouble that nothing...I think one of the most important things for someone who has ADHD is to be able to keep their mind on track. If you loose interest in something too easy you'll be looking for somthing else to do. Today, the teachers have far to many things to worry about besides teaching our 40 children per class.
Poor Little Johnny has an IQ of 50, so he requires a lot more attention than everyone else...while the teacher spends 5 out of 6 hours with little Johnny, the rest of the class goes wild...so the teacher does not have enough time to spend with the class as a whole to get them edgumacated, so what does the teacher recommend?... DRUGS to put the class to sleep so they don't have to worry about the other 39 kids in class and they can spend time with Little Johnny.

My son is.
You seem to haves some serious issues beside your ADHD. Try to ignore the bullies that are harassing you about your pills. Or get help from your school authorities. Taking meds. is very private, and they are trespassing the line with you.
But, you should try to control yourself.
Do you know that many ADHD are very smart and talented? I read that Leonardo Da Vinci was ADHD, so was Mozart and Einstein.
you should try to focus on your strengths and try to develop your talents.
That is what my son has done and right now he is doing fine. he had it very hard when he was in elementary school, but with the modification therapies, neurologist, psychiatrist and his Special Ed. teachers and his family's love he has overcome many things and he has developed into a fine young man.
I am very, very proud of him. Soon he will graduate from HS and he will study Graphic Design in an excellent University

It seems to me that you have more that ADHD. From what I read, you have anger management issues also. Now, I completely understand how the "have you taken your pills" comment would infuriate you. That is unfair to ask and I am sure it is hurtful. However, losing your temper to the point of beating on someone is NOT a form of ADHD, that I am aware of, and is certainly NOT acceptable behavior. I think you need to talk to your parents and explain that you need to see your pediatrician ASAP and have them maybe modify, or change, your current medication. Please do this soon before you accidentally hurt someone in anger and face a day in jail.

Do you understand ADHD and how most people are unable to "control" it without medication?! The medication is suppose to help you to control your impulses/reactions and it sounds like you are having problems due to what you wrote about your reaction. There is a reason why you were given meds and I think for your safety and others you should really consider taking them before you do something you will later regret!

The comment..."have you taken your medicine?" is used by many to provoke action or certain emotions. I use that phrase on people all the time when I think that they are acting up or acting out... Don't take it so personally and answer back with some smarta s s comment like... no, but it looks like you did or looks like you need to get some... Good Luck

I have the inattentive type. I just have to do my best to stay focused, but what I really want is a career where I only have to concentrate on any one thing for about five minutes at a time.

attention deficit hyperactivity disorder deals mainly with lack of concentration. ritalin and similar drugs can help a lot but you need to visit a doctor to get diagnosed first. then your doc will monitor your progress while you are taking some medicine.
