I'm 24, single, and have been all my life, so while I may not be a teenager any more I still have those boyish dreams and desires. I believe love is a state of mind in the eternal moment of now, so the idea of long term comittment is an irrelevant improbability. When 2 people discontinue mutual love (which is vastly different from like, and the 2 are often confused given that hateful states of mind come from not liking someone, and a loss of compassion and affection which leads to interrelationship complacency comes from not loving someone) then the 1 or more people that stopped loving generally are not aware of it and must be told from an outside observer. By this time it is usually too late to fix, but none of the parties involved ever expected to fall out of love.
