I do it all the time, and most of the illegals either give me a dumb look or try to get away really fast. Criminals dont want to have any attention brought upon them. They like to hide and sneak around.
Some of them will talk a little trash but if you stand up to them they back down because they are cowards at heart.
They ran from their country, they lie cheat and steal while here, so why should an American be afraid of a bunch of cowards.
I carry a large sign in my vehicle, it says GO BACK TO MEXICO!! I use it on a daily basis.
Free speech baby! The rule of law!

You can ask anyone any question but they don't have to stop and answer you. They can even give you the finger if they like. That doesn't prove they're undocumented persons. Without concrete eveidence, will you convince the cops? What do you tell them? "Sir, I think those brown skins are illegals because they refused to answer my question and even gave me the finger. Please arrest them!" The cops can't stop people without a probable cause and especially not based on the skin color. That's racial profiling. The ACLU will be ready to file suit. What about illegal white from Europe? Are you gonna stop white people to ask too? Not only your question shows your racist mentality; it shows your stupidity.

Yes, you do. You have the right to stop and ask anyone you want a question, and if in asking questions you discover that they are criminals, by the urging of the police you would be asked to do your civil duty and report them. The police in local communities encourage block watch committees, and doing your ciivl duty by reporting any criminal activity you are aware of. The only ones that would tell you no, you don't have the right, are criminals that are wanting to stay hidden.

You are not a deputized law enforcement officer so you don't have the right to stop and question anybody. If you suspect someone is in the country illegally you do have the right to call the authorities.

I think you have the right to stop and ask them questions and yes, if they can't prove to you then I think it's worth talking to someone about....it's over populated enough here....

This is the worst case of SFB (sh*t for Brains). Mexicans are like wolves; they travel in packs; you won't live to hear the answer; stay safe, Inspector Crusoe.
...hell, your a** might serve to intercept the missile pointed at us by the Koreans, when they kick your butt from here to China.

Unless you are with the CIS: No. You cannot. You can however report them to Federal, State, and local authorities.
Now, you can question someone, but if they tell you to take a hike, there's nothing you can do.

If you would stop and ask me that, I would immediately flip you off and call you a moron. But that's just me
