Ok heres the deal. I am not conceted but I am a very good looking guy. Work out alot and take in alot of good food and nutrients to keep myself healthy and looking good. Ive been burnt by ot girls and now I met and ill honestly say a very ugly girl. Shes about 5'3 , her back is alittle junched. She never got rid of her face pimples and she dresses like a hippy. VERY VERY ugly. BUT " Shes a great person deep inside. Very caring. Very understanding. Great in bed and affectionate to my needs. Were getting married and I dont know how to tell my family to back off.

Just tell them all to stop being so shallow, looks are only skin deep and when your both old and wrinkly and can't be as physical as you use to do, what have you got left besides your personality. Tell them life is not about having a trophy on your arm. You need someone who you can relate to on all levels, not just someone who is good to look, and really the better you know someone, the better they appear to us. Someone who is HOT to look at and is a horrible person, becomes ugly in your eyes.
Tell then she's beautiful to you, and it's you who is with her not them. Ask then plainly "What is your problem"???

I say don't listen to what any of them say. If you love the girl then that's you You cant help who you love. Me, I made the mistake of listening to what my family and some of my so called friends had to say about my boyfriend and our relationship has never been the same. we been together for two years and we are still together but things are shaky every once in awhile and we argue constantly. I really love my boyfriend. I love him so much that i was threatened to be killed by my family, i pretty much lost them eventually, and finally i got pregnant and pretty much dogged out and kicked out my grandmother's house. So i am 19 years old, pregnant, away from home living with him and his parents, and i am not getting any support from my family what so ever with the baby and i deliver in two months. i believed in me and him and i sacrificed the important things in life just to be with him. what i am trying to say is, man up, grow some balls and tell your family and friends that you are in love with this girl, you are marrying her, and there's not a damn thing they can do about it. As cruel as that sounds. you are a grown man and you are old
enough to make your own decisions. They are not going to be in your life forever. If you marry this girl, she will pretty much be with you till you are old and gray and eventually croak. Trust your instincts. If she is good to you then go for it no matter what no one says. No one else may see her beauty, but you see something in her that pleases you. Parents may always tell you that they know what's best for you but sometimes it is best that they let you live your life. but really sit down with them and tell them how much you care about her. you don't want to lose your family and be shut out like i ended up doing. but if it does happen then don't be discouraged. you made a decision that suited you and you are happy. life goes on. Have you never felt this way abt any other chick?
If ur answer is YES,then your family has nothing to do with it......
But since ur family has been with u 4 all these years...u may have 2 listen to them.....but if they really care abt u...they WILL support you.....

Simple, you tell them that your getting married and if they cant live with that they dont need to come to the wedding, I assume your old enuff to make that choice so tell them how it is and live your life, they are the ones missing out on seeing thier son marry and the grandkids that might come later.

You don't really love her....Be honest to yourself...ugly or not , it shouldn't matter to you how she looks...and you seem very self absorbed and you think the way she looks reflects on you...so stop hurting her feelings and tell her how you feel...as for your family, you're just using them as an excuse coz you're afraid to admit how you really feel about this relationship...Be honest to yourself...how do you really feel?

well its your life; if you love her and know she is the one that you want to be with for the rest of your life and you know she loves you. who gives a crud with what others say. you realized that looks are not everything when it comes to love and hopefully your family will realize that too. you should stand up for her and tell your family that they will just have to back off...
