Stop feeding the cat from the table and only feed it cat food. It will take a few days but hunger will soon take over and it will go back to eating cat food.
You will probably be worried at first, because the cat won't eat, but really you shouldn't worry about it. If the cat has cat food available, it will eat it and not starve itself.

Well, first, if you had to eat the same food for every meal, your whole life, and then somebody fed you real food for a while, you wouldn't want to go back to that garbage either. Cat food's only been in existence for the past 50 or so years; you can feed cats 100% table food and have them be healthy. My last cat, we did this with as he got old, and needed the healthier ingredients and better nutrient value of real food. If you're the slightest bit okay with it, check at the bookstore for resources, or find a holistic vet in your area.
Otherwise, wait the cat out. She'll eat the kibble eventually. If you get too worried, try canned cat food, then wean her off of it by mixing it half and half with dry food for a couple days.

Cat food is bland and has no seasoning. The cat has learned about salt and pepper.
Seriously, human food is not the best food for a cat. They can develop health problems if they don't get the right blend of nutrients. The best thing is to be firm with both the cat and your daughter. Don't give the cat table food, ever. Don't let it whine you into giving in. Put it in another room during meal times if necessary. Eventually, it will get hungry enough to eat its own food.

Your daughter is fixing to learn a lesson in life.
She made a bad choice, and now she will have to watch the cat pay for it.
The odds are she meant no harm, but gave the cat the table food out of love. However, if she truly loves the cat, she must understand, it will shorten his life.
The quickest easiest way to correct the problem, is to not let him have any people food. If he begs during meal time, just lock him up while you are eating. After a few days hunger will set in and he will go back to his cat food.
This is a common problem in many households, but you can make the best of it, by letting it be a learning experience for your daughter.

If you look at people who feed their cats the "raw food diet", studies are starting to prove human grade meats are fine for cats. As long as she is not feeding it potato chips or stuff like that. I have a friend who's cat loves fruit... he is all over when ever she eats fruit...
Cats like things that taste good, they have taste buds too. In nature cats don't eat carbohydrates, and hard food is mainly that and that is the exact opposite of your cats nutritional needs.
The more I learn about cat nutrition the more I do stuff like make fresh trout enough for us and the cats.... stuff like that is good for them....
here is a great site
http://www.catnutrition.org/
on this site it talks about the dangers of a cat not eating.... you can't force it to eat and if it stops eating its not a good thing... these posts about starving your cat to make it eat is very bad advice.
There are so many holistic views to cat nutrition

Just stop with the table food and eventually, sweet kitten will get right back on her own cat food. Gentle but firm: give her a few days and I bet he or she will come around.

Don't let the cat have any more table food. When it gets hungry enough, it will eat it's own food.

Stop feeding the cat table scraps, not matter how much they demand. They'll get hungry and go back to their own food.

Try feeding the cat her food, but from the table like it's a treat. It worked for my grandparents' beagle and he was really spoiled.

if you only give it cat food, eventually it's going to have to eat it. just make sure not to give it any table food.
if it will not eat anything and is going to starve to death... try putting some table food in the cat's regular food to get it to go after it.
