i am a pagan so i know what it's like to be mis-understood. that's why i'm asking...to understand this :)

If you are talking about The Church of Satan, no they don't worship the devil since they don't believe he exists. It was just a name Anton LeVey picked to get a reaction, it worked well too. They are about hedonism and giving into human nature rather than denying yourself base wants.

Because LeVeyan Satanists are actually atheists. They don't actually believe in Satan much less worship him. He merely supports some of their belief such as the 7 Satanic statements. Most of them aren't evil. Harming another person or animal without provocation is not allowed. Blessed be.

Its because it isn't the same. I don't really know much about it, but I do know that it isn't exactly devil worship. The "Devil" character in Christian mythology is a thing that changes appearance, role, nationality, personality and relationship with their "god" character repeatedly. Satanists likely believe in the character Lucifer Morningstar, the purest of all beings who knew not hate or selfishness.

everyone has different views, so dont beat on them, but stay strong to what u know and belive, but dont try to go against anyone on what they do, even though we might belive is it associated to the devil etc, some people dont, keep it real!
