Inability to organize your life into an HABITUAL series of worktime causes laziness.
Schedule your work and study and stick to that schedule without cheating or delaying the start. If you can't do that you are rebelling and trying not to grow up.

I'm guilty of this myself. I've found that with everyday activities unless I'm really interested, I'll keep pushing them back. Many time the thing I push back need to the done, I just don't like doing them.
The best way to meet goals or get things done, is to tell EVERYONE you know what you ARE planing on doing. That way they'll be on your case asking how you are doing. If you do bad, they'll remind you and can make you feel bad. But, that exactly is what pushes most not to stop and meet the goal.
Laziness is caused by the lack of caring what other may say. When you care what people think of you, you'll find yourself trying to make a good impression and therefore pushing your self to do better.
For example if you can't find the energy to clean your house, Invite someone (important to you) for dinner or to visit you from out of town. You'll find that yourself cleaning the house before they get there. With luck you won't wait until the day they arrive.

Disinterest causes laziness. Tie your task to something you are truly interested in. For instance, extreme interest in running a marathon would get you out of the house for a jog on a rainy day, but without that goal, you'd let the rain be an excuse. This idea works on everything from doing dishes to studying calculus!
Good luck!

One way is to set up an ironclad schedule for yourself. For example you could declare every day at 5:30pm "Do the dishes time". You would hold yourself honor-bound to do the dishes at 5:30 no matter what show you were in the middle of, etc.
A lot of things cause laziness. The biggest is just human nature. It's always easier to do nothing than something.

they just need to do.. anything, keep busy. Practice things they dont like usually laziness is perceived when they dont do what they want to do. a guy can work 2 jobs but if he comes home and falls asleep watching tv and doesnt help at home he might be considered lazy.
Just do it and quit b|tch|n

Try not goin to school. I finished my schooling and I haven't been lazy ever since. Well, if you're too big for that, try not going to work instead.
