Lots of used cars. Thats about it. Maybe a little Geo would be around that, a little more maybe 9 or 10 new.

Find a used Toyota maybe 2001 for around 8.

8 thousand would make a nice down payment though. If your credit is good get a lease and use 6 of the 8 to pay off the first 2 years of the lease. this gives you a few years to save enough to buy it at the end of the lease.

Kia Rio was around 9 grand a couple years ago, but i'm sure that has gone up...
