I have a strong dislike of capers. I love olives, but my partner doesn't. Still, there are recipes that call for capers that in all other respects sound great. What ingredient could I use instead?

I sometimes substitute any fresh herbs like: oregano, thyme, mint and flat leaf parley with a squeeze of lemon juice. These ingredients add tartness and subtle hints of flavor that add a more complex taste to your pallete.

I won't swear by this as a substitute, but anchovies are processed much like capers. Capers are actually tiny immature buds of a bush found in the Middle East. They're pretty flavorless on their own, but the taste intensifies after sun-drying and brining.
Anchovies are also sun-dried and brined, so you might be able to duplicate the taste of capers with a few chopped pieces.

Leave them out. It's just easier that way. Should you be able to find them, you might try fresh currents. They have just a bit of tang and a slight sweetness when fresh. They have roughly the same texture as capers. I Don't really know if this helps without seeing the recipe. Experiment. Happy eating!

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://biturl.im/aU4k8

The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

Just leave them out, and add a little more salt to the recipe. Capers are often there to give the dish a tangy, salty flavor.
