the reason why i choose one religion is because baptist and christianity is the same thing i choose to be a christian because i believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and i have been baptized with the Holy spirit so therefore i will never give up on God Or the Lord Jesus Christ, i dont choose other religions because one is good enough for me i wouldnt want to be confused all the time with what im actually supposed to do for each one

Generally we choose religions based on the culture of our birth and the society we live in.
As globalization has allowed more religions to interact with less violence there has been an opportunity for a literate individual to study many and choose what they find most compatible with them self.
The other way many have left one religion for another is disillusionment with the religion they are familiar with and the enticement of evangelists that seek to recruit members.

Well i have been through a lot of different religions, and it is unbelievable what they leave out,it is hard to find the true religion but when a religion goes by the Bible and shows you exactly where in the bible is what they are preaching and they are obeying Gods laws then you know.like it says in the bible and you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.John 8:32

what do u mean by "we choose one religion, but not others " did u choose your parents ? did u choose your brother or sister ?u were born to your parents. same way u are born in a religion.because your parents were born in that or have chosen it. if u want to change your religion u can do it.read the holy books of all the religions. which ever u feel is right for u ,u go for it. if u believe in god , we have to choose a religion as religion tells us how to pray, how to worship god. if u don't believe in god, it doesn't matter which religion u belong to.

Heaven can be entered only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide enough for all the multitudes who choose its easy way. But the gateway to life is small, and the road is narrow, and only a few ever find it.
"I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.....Jesus Christ

I guess it's what speaks to our hearts. I choose Jesus because I know He is real, He is alive, He is my Savior. But I can understand how someone else raised differently, or somewhere else might feel the same way about the one they believe in.

In India we have no such problem. The Hindu religion has several thousands of Gods and the six main deities are
SIVA, VISHNU,SHAKTHI, GANESH, SUBRAHMANYA & SUN
Also they have no hesitation to pray at churches and mosques.
They are strong in their beliefs that all worships go the same GOD.
One is called the FAMILY DEITY, another is VILLAGE DEITY and then in every temple it is the PRESIDING DEITY and on top
THE PET DEITY(ISHTA DEVATHA) to whom one is more attached. They become more tolerant that way.

Because that particular religion answers a lot of questions for a person. For me, I chose Christianity because God has shown himself real to me so many times. God has answered many of my prayers, including things that the odds of it happening by chance were simply to small to be considered just by chance.
