Personally, I think your cat should be taken away from you. You sound utterly irresponsible and uncaring. The symptoms you describe...the cat is reacting to the liquor as poisoning. One shot of liquor drunk by you does not have the same effect as what it does to a small animal.
I have 2 cats and would NEVER do this. Would you give a baby liquor? Why would catnip relax a cat? It does the just opposite to most cats.
I hope your cat doesn't die and that you have learned something from your stupidity.

What an idiot! I am amazed at the stupid things people do.This one is probably in the top 10 of all time, man. How bored could you be? You really need to get a life. Even if your story is made up you still have too much time on your hands. How sad for both you & the cat w/ an idiot for an owner.

Get off the internet and call the poison control or vet emergency clinic!! By the way, catnip is a stimulant - cats usually go wild over it. That's very curious that she didn't take to it.... What else have you done to your cat to make her not interested in catnip?

Get her to a vet ASAP. She'd dying because you've poisoned her. It's probably too late for the vet to do anything. Be prepared to have the vet call the SPCA and police when you get there, though. What you did constitutes felony animals cruelty charges, and you deserve it. How you could claim to love the cat, and do something so obviously stupid is beyond me.

Please tell me you're kidding. Call the emergency vet clinic. Get help for the cat. A cat is what 10 pounds maybe and you've given her a serving of alcohol fit for an adult.
Cats do not have the enzyme to digest alcohol.. get her some help. NOW

call the local hospital and ask a nurse . Its the same thing you would do to a baby. Milk is a good idea but the frothing at the mouth is what happens when they get something in their mouth that irritates it . It's normal . Dont do that anymore . You will answer for it .
