Yes, I drive myself crazy everyday with my compulsions of straightening things, touching things, making sure the hallway doors are shut, thinking the right things, saying words backwards in my head... I am crazy. I can't repress my thoughts, it is too hard.

I do to a degree. If I put my keys in my purse in the car as I get ready to get out, I have to look several times to make SURE they are in my bag. I can tell myself that they are in there, and I will still check several times. I also have the urge to wash my face several times a day... well, more like many times a day, don't know why. I just laugh at myself most of the time, but I have had it to cause problems. I get weirded out if I am in the front seat of a small automobile and there is someone in the back seat. (WHO knows?!? LOL) I was in a friends tiny little Champ many years ago with my two daughters in the back seat, and nearly lost my mind. I actually had to get him to let me out, and I called a cab to take me by myself to our destination because I couldn't make it in his car! That's probably been the worst time, and I laugh about it now, because it's the only thing I CAN do!!

I personally don't have OCD, but one of my brothers does. He takes Reliv for his vits/nutrients and I think Zoloft or Paxil, some kind of drug, to repress his habits. He's also been through counseling and handles his condition very well.

Someone I know does. They have compulsive behaviours like biting their hands, etc. They've started developing ticks, ie. head shakes, so I think they may have Tourette's. I think they're going to try some meds and see a neurologist if that doesn't help.
