Lately I go for a couple of days hardly eating anything, the next couple of days I'll eat way too much(almost constantly). I'm not over or under weight, I never gain or lose more than a couple of pounds.I'm late 30s, male. I had my blood checked about 2 months ago, everything was ok. Is this healthy?

Not the healthiest way to live, but you could do worse. There are a few things that you're risking with this behavior:
1) Since you fast for a couple of days before eating, you're obviously hungrier than if you had three squares, so you tend to eat more at a sitting or eat more often. If you're not careful, you can distend your stomach, which places a lot of stress on your body that is trying to deal with more food than it currently has the safe capacity for... and it might cause you to develop a gut.
2) Depending on your fitness and general health level, fast and binge eating can have you on a dietary roller coaster, leaving you lethargic one day and peppy the next. Sudden influxes of calories, particularly if they're carbs, followed by long periods with little can gradually cause an intolerance to glucose and the beginnings of Type II diabetes.
3) If you're starving after a couple days without much to eat, who's to say you're eating a good balance of the right foods? If I'm really hungry, just about ANYTHING looks good.
4) You may not gain or lose weight NOW, but you're at the age when (sorry to say) you're about to crest the hill and start heading downhill. An irregular diet can and probably will catch up with you, especially if you're not all that active.

If you don't like doing the three meals a day schedule, try eating small meals several times a day, even if it isn't at the same time. Monitor your intake and make sure you're eating quality things.

I understand that even daily in the morning we must have a breakfast worth the name and not remain empty stomach till we take lunch. Otherwise we are likely to put on more weight even.
Extremes are to be avoided and moderation is good in all cases.

sure, that's how animals eat in nature. And how the first humans ate. When you find food, you pig out. When you can't find food, you starve.

Ofcourse life expectancy back then was pretty low too.

yeah what happens is you starve yr body then when you do eat the body goes oh yay food and stores it as body fat. so therefore eat regularly and excercise too and you see the difference. I'm on this plan and its great
