It really depends on what you like to cook. I also have:
Allspice
Bay Leaves
Cayenne Pepper
Celery Seed
Chives
Cilantro
Cloves
Coriander
Cream of Tartar
Cumin
Curry Powder
Dill Seed and Weed
Fennel Seed
Garlic Powder
Ginger
Horseradish
Mace
Marjoram
Mustard Seed and Dried Mustard
Nutmeg
Onion Powder and salt
Oregano
Paprika
Parsley
Pepper, white, black and red
Red Pepper flakes
Rosemary
Saffron
Sage
Tarragon
Thyme
Turmeric
Vanilla (as well as a number of other flavors)
Just to name a few more. Best thing to do is just buy spices as you find recipes that you want to try that call for them. Spices can be expensive to just rush out and get and many do not last long. I also have a herb garden that I get some spices from.

It all depends on what you usually cook daily. What I normall keep in the kitchen is salt, chillie powder, tumeric, zeera, corriender, garam masala powder, pepper powder, whole spice like pepper, cloves, cinnamon, cardamon, ginger and garlic which we use practically in all dishes, mayonnaise, pasta sauce, vinegar for taste. Ofcourse if you are cooking anything special one can always buy the extras, while onions, potatoes and tomatoes are the normal things we keep at home.

It depends on your kitchen space, etc. but I've gotten by with:
1. pumpkin pie spice blend for sweet things- pancakes, muffins, breads, etc.
2. Italian seasoning for savory things- veggies, soups, sauces.
3. Salt and pepper
4. Chili flakes/ground chili pepper for kick.
Fresh spices and fresh garlic go alot further in flavour enhancing.
