No, it is not normal.
I can think of only two reasons for your dilemma...
If something is wrong physically you should see your gynecologist ASAP. Only you can decide if something physically went wrong during intercourse, but only your doctor can examine you and tell you whether you require medical attention.
The other reason for your problems with breathing would be that you are having an anxiety or panic attack. Anxiety attacks after sex are not as uncommon as one might think.
You and your gynecologist would be able to determine whether your breathing difficulty was cause by physical trauma or an anxiety attack.

Dont think its normal... is he unusually heavy? Did he put alot of pressure on your chest? Did you guys get pretty rough?
Those are all questions you gotta ask yourself, if you are worried about it, I would suggest you see a docter. Otherwise, just let it go for now and see if it gets better. Then if you still cant breathe very good and it hurts to try an do so, go to the ER immediately.

Unfortunately shortness of breath is a signal that something is wrong!
If you are short of breath...go to the ER...IT IS NOT NORMAL!
It could be asthma or it could be cardiac, a blood clot, or something more significant.....Go now if you are still having a problem...I do not joke....I am a nurse.
If you feel silly...I would rather be silly than dead or permanently disabled. Ask yourself, is this normal...I am sure the answer will be "No"......so get a moving to the ER!

It doesn't sound like it could be from sex. Do you feel like you are having an anxiety attack? That could be. Are you under a lot of stress? Try some meditation or relaxation. Sometimes being stressed can bring on a shortness of breath.

If you're having trouble breathing you should be going to an emergency room or seeing a doctor right away rather than asking us here - Sounds like asthma and that's nothing to mess around with.

first you need to calm down cause being worried will make you worse or keep it going, its probably a small type of asma, i dont have full blow asma but i need to take an inhaler some times when i exercise, or if the sex is great, that too.

Does it hurt when you breath. This could be a bruised rib. Shortness of breath, is different than hurts when you breath. I would need more information.
