the first move. This culture and world is evolving but it seems like men have to approach women first. I know there are a few brave ladies, but i saw a post where a girl gave a guy her number and if he gave her, his number, why cant she call after a while. To much is based of what the man does, it seems.

"Because it shows that the guy is interested." -Anna banana - Thats precisly his point, hes getting at why do guys always have to show there interested first and end up getting rejected more. Either girls can muster up to it, or cant handle the rejection, i have no idea.

The only reason you think its "just right" is because you grew up and were taught that. If you were brought up that its "just right" for women to ask men out firs you would feel totaly different. The culture plays a huge part, if we are to treat women eqaully (which i do) then they need to do there part and gather the courage to try and make the first move once and a while.

Because it shows that the guy is interested. I think it makes it more romantic if a guy calls me. Honestly, though, if you want a girl to call, empasize that. Call her a few times, and then tell her when a good time would be to call, and give her your number. That's what my guyfriend did.

sometimes it is culture. but these days more women are making their moves. if we wait to long they get snapped up or youll be waiting forever. lol
