Why do you insist on answering questions that are not directed to you?

Question

Ladies answering questions directed to men, and vice versa, atheists answering questions directed to Christians, Christians butting in and forcing their views on whomever, whenever, as if they have a God given right?

BTW - In case you are wondering, I love the Lord.

So why did those who say they don't answer questions that are not directed at them answer this question? Think about it!

I am an American and there is nothing that makes me happier than sticking my nose in where it doesn't belong. Those people should consider it a gift when I put my two cents in, even if I wasn't the target demographic for their question. My opinion is always the best anyways.

Perhaps because it's actually a violation of Y!A guidelines to direct questions only to specific groups. Not to mention, it is not necessary to be a member of some specific group to be knowledgable and have a potentially good answer.

I find I have more knowledge of Christianity than probably 95% of the people posting here even though I'm not a Christian. Why should I refrain from spreading the knowledge I spent years to acquire if I think it can answer a question, just because the asker is short sighted?

It's just as annoying or even more so when a religious person tries to answer a scientific question and totally make it sound like total nonsense compared to their beliefs when they don't even know what they're talking about. Like when a Christian says "Well the big bang states everything came from nothing" or "evolution says man came from apes." These are straw man arguments. We may be irreverent sometimes but a lot of times the verses we point to really do say what they say. It's not our fault that the Bible says some messed up stuff. Some things still don't make since even WITHIN context.

I don't know really, I guess I do answer question that the atheist put out there because I know young people use the computer also, and I don't want them to be lead in he wrong direction..

I try not to answer questions like that which don't apply to me- it's bad manners. I try to stick to things I actually know something about, and only if the question is directed at me or open to anybody.

Yeah, why??? And WHY don't we ask the Government to Laser-Scan the Signature's on the Declaration of Independance and decode the SOUND VIBRATION's that were CAPTURED in the Drying Ink????? We could hear what was being said while they Signed It!!!!!

eh, the questions are really open to anyone. but questions directed to certain people... so what? People can talk to random people if they want. they can give others their opinion. WHAT OF IT!?
