You might lose a little, but I guarantee you it won't stay off, your body goes into survival mode whenever you start decreasing calorie intake rapidly, as soon as you start eating normally again your body will just store everyhting as fat and actually you could end up gaining more, do this instead, eat when your hungry, stop when your full, eat fruit and veggies (you can eat as much as you want) eat good food, have a meat and a veggie and a protein for lunch and supper, walk, start a yoga class

You might lose weight but that is not very long. First, it is mostly not your fault that you need to lose weight. The way society has taught you to eat is responsible for making obesity (according to Atlantic Monthly magazine) the #1 health problem in the world replacing hunger and infectious disease. So you are a victim of this pandemic (epidemic) of obesity.
So you need to completely re-learn how to eat so you won't be a victim anymore. Learn everything that is on the site below. Do this and you can be thin. Do this not and you will have what you have now. You will learn about losing bodyfat, retained water and a 3rd thing. The reason there is so much info on this website is because I need to spend a lot of words to prove that many current ideas about losing weight are wrong.

Depends on which fruit you'll be eating. Many fruits are actually very high in calories. Nuts as someone else said are very high in fat.
All that said however, you probably would lose a few pounds because you'd most likely be eating less that normally. Once you return to a normal diet you'd gain it all back (including any water weight you lost)

Depends on how much fruits and nuts you eat! If you eat 2000 calories worth of fruits and nuts a day then, no, you will not lose weight. But if you eat about 500-800 calories you may lose some weight depending of the level of calorie burning exercise you do.

Wanna know what happens when your body is not fed properly? Your body doesn't trust you anymore to feed it properly, so it decides to store as much fat as possible. So instead of losing weight, you're actually gainig weight.
People always want to take shortcuts, but the weight you lose this way, you'll eventually get back. The best way is to do it safely, through exercise and with good nutrition.

fruit is good for you and may help u to lose weight but nuts are fatty and oily and might make u gain some wait but u want to know what those foods contain and stuff go to a nutrionist and she/he can help u plan a healthy diet regimin that will help you to lose weight effectively
