I went to Wal-Mart and for 200 0r 300 I got the crib, a changing table, and a 4-drawer dresser. It's actually really pretty. Cost a lot less than buying all 3 individually. And it's easier, because the pieces already match in color. You have to put them all together, which can be a pain, but it's well worth the money.

Try a resale shop- i would stay away from garage sales because they might be old cribs with lead paint, or the slats on the crib too far apart, a resale shop cannot sell you anything that is recalled. They are aware of what is allowed, and what is not. Also- never buy a used baby car seat. Resale shops are not even allowed to sell them anymore. Something about if they are in a car accident, it might not work right afterwards, and if you don't know who had the car seat, you won't know if it was ever in a car accident or not.

Try outlet stores as you may find a return item that has been marked down to nothing. For a scheme, I used yellow (walls) and orange (polka dot wall stickies) as I like bright colors. When we found out it was a girl, I just threw in some alternating hot pink (polka dot wall stickies) and a couple circle rugs and lucked up and found a yellow, hot pink and orange polka dot crib set for the low, low! You can do it! Good luck!

I would say look on eBay, or in discount stores such as good will or 2ND hand stores of that kind. Just make sure its approved by all the safety regulations and everything before putting a baby in it, or giving it a child to play with. Just make sure its safe.
