In your teens, try to avoid fad diets and do the diet and exercise thing. Also, this early in your life it's important to make lifestyle changes so that you can maintain a healthy weight much easier through later life.
If it's hard to lose weight without a program, I suggest trying weight watchers. There are no "forbidden foods," you just have to learn to balance high-calorie foods with low-calorie, high-fiber foods. Also, the meetings provide a great system of support. Plus, the things you learn in Weight Watchers do not stop after you reach your weight loss goal, so it essentially "teaches you how to eat."

Just try to eat as healthy as healthy as possible and exercise 3-5 times a week. And absolutely do not take diet pills unless you talk to a doctor first - those things are awful.

you should try to eat smaller more frequent meals to increase your metabolism and you should excercise. Getting your heartrate up will burn calories, in turn burning fat. Never use diet pills or anything! They're unhealthy to begin with.
Good luck!
