I couldn't keep count of how many such days I've had. First I'll immerse myself in self-pity and curse my stars that nothing's going right for me. But after sometime, I'll calm down and think about why such things happened on that day and what I could do to solve those problems. Some clear thinking would set my mind cool most of the times.

Came home from work in a big windy storm. The wind had blown my house door open and a bunch of wild cats got in and tore through the garbage. I wanted to catch them but the wind had also tore open the pump house door and I didn't want the pipes to freeze. I decided I couldn't do it all so I called my husband and my neighbor. So when my neighbor got here he said "Drive down to my house and get warm". It was a mile away. Halfway there I got a flat tire. I opened the door to get out and the car door fell off. It was a bad door day.
Oh, I forgot to say that one of the wild cats bit me and I had to go to the emergency room later to get a tetenus shot and a stitch.

Had to go to funeral for boyfriends uncle.
Uncle's elderly sister wants to go to deceased mans house to pick up something very important !!!
Sister forgets about the cat.
Sister opens door.
Cat jumps out - runs away.
Sister jumps back - into me.
Knocks me off porch into bush.
I spend ten hours at hospital - hairline fracture of ankle.
Very important thing to be picked up?
Picture of deceased with stupid cat !!!!

Oh hell yeah.
In one day I got dumped, got a flat tire, went broke, was told I may be laid off in the near future, and I was SOOO behind on my bills it wasn't even funny.
Then like three days later I landed a great new job and now I can actually afford to eat real food. :-)
Life is weird sometimes.

are you asking in reference to artwork? on days like that I just do a bunch of messy quick paintings or drawings (loosens you up), not caring what they look like, sometimes rip them up (relieves frustration), then go do something completely different, garden, clean,... and a day later inspiration strikes as subconscious has worked out the problems

sure do its natural... go stand in the bathroom and laugh your head off about nothing in particular.. when you laugh your blood vessels enlarge and when you are sad they constrict..
so laugh yur head off when you feel not good.. chances are laughter is the best medicine
