I think it depends what you want to accomplish with the blessed oil - what intent is behind it? Also be careful how much oil - because it stains, it's slippery (someone could get hurt) and it's permanent.

There's no such thing as "blessed oil". You have been sold a bill of goods. God does not work thru magic potions, secret handshakes, or "Words of Faith". You need to find God through a genuine submissive spiritual relationship, and stop trying to manipulate Him, and force Him to do your bidding with "blessed oil" and formula prayers. God is the creator of everything, even you. We do not tell God what to do. We cannot create an "obligation" that He must fulfill through any potion. You are engaged in a form of idolatry, elevating an object (oil) to be equal to God, by believing that something in God's creation can make God work for you. If was true that God "must" bless everything that this oil touches, then the oil has become God's commander - which is absurd! He is not a puppet that will be manipulated by any person.

I don't suppose I will get selected as "best answer" for this one. ;)

Your blessed oil will bless whatever it touches. Blessed oil is not a magic potion though. God's Will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Let God's will be done, not our own. Accept that which God as decreed, and peace will come. Suffer not the little children, let them come onto him. Take care of the widows and orphans always. The begger you give food to may be god. Your neighbor should be loved as you would love yourself. Love your God with all your might, mind, heart, and soul. Wtih these things shall ye be blessed, and peace and happiness shall be with you as God dwells within you. Let the Spirit move freely about your soul as a witness, as a companion, and a supreame comfortor, and as your judger. The Holy Spirit is within us all, which is God. Be still and allow the still soft voice of the Lord be heard within your heart. You shall follow his path, and redemption is yours. Blessed be.

I would love to give you a good answer, but I don't quite understand the question. You can only pray that the blessed oil is working for you.

I don't think that annointing anything with blessed 10W-40 will do any good at all, but you can give it a try.

Don't you dare!
Blessed oil is for anointing the sick; in baptism; and for protecting your home. If a Christian request anointing because they are sick, anoint them.
When you anoint, you are doing as our Anointed the Messiah told us to do. Christ means anointed one.
