I feel like God has called me to sing but i feel doubt in my mind. I am totally confused. Why do i feel this way

I'm not going to tell you what you should do because that is ultimately your decision. However, there have been a lot of times in my life that God has convicted me of something and then I begin to strongly doubt it. It is the work of Satan, trying to make you stray from God's Plan. If you have the gift of song, use it. We are to worship Him, whether we have the most beautiful voice or can't carry a tune in a bucket. Just give everything you have to Him, and keep praying constantly about it. The closer you become to God, the more apparent His will for you will become. This is something that I need to do as well. I, too, feel as though I am supposed to sing, but begin to doubt my ability and stuff like that. I am a naturally self-concious person, so everytime I hear someone with a good voice, I doubt that I could achieve something like that. I just have to keep praying and praying and sing to His Glory. You may just need a little encouragement. Do you belong to a church where there is music? If so, talk to whoever heads the music ministry about what you're sensing and how you're feeling. You may also be feeling some insecurity. The Lord may put someone there to help you get started.

Because Satan is probably trying to keep you from doing God's will. Satan is the master of confusion, and will do anything to hinder God's work.

you feel this way because your scared do what your heart tells you to do you never know how for you will go put your faith and trust in god believe he will show you the way

maybe you're still in the process of setting your best priorities. just pray that He will guide you to whatever path He wants you to take, and so that your doubts will vanish.
