It is not unheard of for a friend to drive a blind friend to the bank. Even blind people need cash and use ATMs. Blind person sits in back, driver pulls up far enough to grant their friend access...blind friend can withdraw money due to the braille on the keys. Have you never seen it done? I have. :)

I saw that there was brail on the entrance to the surgery room when I went in for my c-section. I sure hope it was just for people who are blind and lost and not for the surgeon! Maybe it is on ATM because people have passengers.

they have a commonplace format for all machines it could be extra high priced to have a different layout at thecontinual throughs than on the walk up atms and that is constantly a possibility that I blind guy or woman could walk as much as or be pushed to acontinual up atm window. The blind guy or woman i've got long previous to the economic business enterprise with prefered to economic business enterprise interior the previous-formed way and went interior to the teller in the time of banking hours.

Why can't you spell Braille? I bet you a blind person could. Don't worry, you are not alone because others spelled it the same as you. But seriously, do you think that you, or only people with the same needs as you use the drive-thru ATM? Is it that hard for you to see the outside world?

...so blind people can use it?

No, seriously, some people can see enough to dirve, but not read tiny print, so brail is easier.

And they'd also probably get sued by some self-righteous bastards for not being helpful to handicapped or whatever.

I think it's a legality issue. Or maybe it would cost more to change the die cast to manufacture buttons and/or the metal plates.
