I am sure that she didn't want the pain of labor, but she did it because of love. Show her the same love. All moms drive their sons crazy. Its one of the rights they get from becoming a mother. Wait until you get a mother in law, if you don't already have one. Then you won't find your mother too crazy. ;' )

You don't. Just suck it up and let her stay the weekend. Parents drive you crazy, but if it's just for the weekend, you can live with it. It's worth your mother's feelings, isn't it?

You don't. You act like a man, suck it up, and enjoy your time with her, because she won't be here forever. And when she does go, you will just feel guilt about not even being able to spend a weekend with the woman who raised you for ? years. It's a weekend. What , three days at the most? Deal.

Oh for pity's sake, it's 2 days of your entire life. Let her come and clean and disinfect that sh*thole you live in and do some laundry (admit it you haven't washed your bedsheets in at least 6 months) and suck it up....it's not like she's going to be cramping your style or messing up a date....by the looks of you, you sit at home alone every weekend anyway!

How often does she come? A weekend should pass quite fast.
If she comes most weekend, then tell her you are not free to entertain her.

Be crazy for one weekend, make nice and make the woman who gave birth to you happy. It's one weekend you won't die.

You don't. You drove her crazy for 18 years of weekends. You're a grown-up now, so be gracious to her.

She's your mother. Value the time that you have with her, even if she does "drive you crazy". You will be longing for her to get on your nerves once she is gone.
