Matthew 21:22 "If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer."
Well, according to Jesus, you will receive WHATEVER you ask for, and that should include getting your shoes cleaned and shined, so I don't know what the problem is. Did you get an answering machine when you prayed? Sometimes, God leaves his answering machine on and forgets to call back.

Because God doesn't want you to be lazy. He is not your servant . You are the servant of the Lord. He did give you 2 hands to work with and a mind to know how to do it . So now put your 2 hands together , get down on your knees and ask for forgiveness for the crazy statement you just made and clean your shoes.

Because God helped us be smart enough to help our selves. God cleanses our souls of our body's not the SOLES of our shoes. You may have read the words wrong or had a misunderstanding
