Yes Me. speaking in tongues is a gift to pray to God when you don't know how to pray for things, it is the evident you are filled. Christ in me the hope of glory. There is also a gift in the Church for Unbeliever so God can talk to them about their hearts question.and give them comfort. God knows many languages.

Im filled with the Holy Spirit but I havent spoken in tongues. I will when and if He wants me to.

Never done it, but I've witnessed the mindless babbling many times. I've also got a former "spirit filled" friend who is now an atheist -- and he can still "speak in tongues" at will! It's always a good laugh, and it kinda says something about the authenticity of it all. Charismata is contrived crap.

I have, it's the way I build up myself in the Spiritual REALM. You should be Spiritual enough to know when to do it in an assembly of Believer's, GOD don't want anybody missunderstanding. But, kid's will be kid's. And sometime's the enemy use's people to just start speaking in Tongue's, so as to mess-up the meeting, and misslead other people. These guy's really can't be held responsible for it, they just ain't learned yet. Hope this helps.

well, when you accept Christ, you automatically are filled with the Holy Spirit. But speaking in tongues isn't everybodies gifts

No one if you define it by the Bible.I know many people who claim to speak in tongues, but not one of them that can go up to someone who speaks in another language and supernaturally begin to speak their language. When I see that then I will begin to seriously take a look at the issue, but in my 60 years of being a Christian I have never seen it.

Ive never had that happen to me. It'd probably be scary as hell though. Sure, its the Holy Spirit, but youre speaking all sorts of languages.

this is so funny ...when my husband was young he went to a church with his aunt & uncle ...they all spoke in tounges and jerked around like people having convultions....he said he didnt know what to do so he started acting like they were and they all started chanting about how he had the holy ghost.....true story...i make fun of him about having the holy ghost to this very day...he said it was a little frightning for him

I have and am. I was spirit filled at church camp in 92 one of the greatest experiences of my life. it gives u a much deeper prayer life. (at least it did me)

test every spirit wheather they came from God, read the bible you will know what's the exact answer to ur questions. But ask God to fill you His awesome wisdom 4 you to understand okay? :)
