I can't wait to die...that sounds morbid, I know...but as a Christian, I long for the time when I can be reunited in Heaven with Christ and all of my loved ones! That doesn't mean that I don't want to live though. I believe that I am here on earth for a reason, and when my time is up, then I'll go home to my Father's house.

No,No, No! I am a Christian, I hope to reap the benefits Of The Ransom Sacrifice Of the Christ. I hope to live here in a paridice earth for ever!
Humans were not ment to live for a few futile years and die!
Genisis2:15-117 In these scriptures God spoke of death NOT as an unaviodable circumstance, but as what can result from sin
. He was urging Adam to avoid sin.(compareRomans 6:23)
Ps. 37:29 reads"The righteous themselves will possess the earth , and they will reside upon it for ever." This promise makes it clear that Gods basic purpose reguarding the earth and mankind has not changed.
He wants mankind to reside here for ever in a paradice!
So, ON what basis can You and I hope to have MORE than this brief human existance?
Please read! and do your own prayerful consideration of these text;
Matt.20:28
John 3:16
Heb.5:9
Acts24:15
John 11:25,26
Adam and Eve screwed things up in Paradice, God will not alow that screw up to last forever, I want to be here in the earth with all the things I love. I want to be a member of the great crowd in the new earth, cleansed by The Christ after the battle of the Armageddon, (Being Gods war, not mine) I will be faithful and let my God do the fighting for me, and wait for the victoroius outcome! and the cleansed paradice earth in wich to live!
I was just informed by Yahoo that spell check is now having a problem...please forgive my spelling...

Yes, I think suicide is a sin. Murder is a sin, so in a sense, you're murdering somebody by killing yourself. On the other part, I don't think there is a heaven/hell. I think there is a bible verse somewhere that says, "Death is like a sleep, no thoughts, no emotions, no feelings", which is rather disturbing.

I'm not Christian, but I definitely believe that our souls return to the spiritual realm that is our true eternal home and frankly, I'm quite looking forward to it. I have no desire to cut this life short, I chose, at a soul level to come here for a reason, so I'm going to enjoy and appreciate every moment of life that I can, but I'm not afraid of what happens after I die.

Yep.
Ecc 12:6 Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern.
Ecc 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

The Apostle Paul said,
Phl 1:23 For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:
2Cr 5:8 We are confident, [I say], and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

Yes, I am anxious to get out of the flesh and back into my true spiritual body. BUT, only when my job here is finished, and hopefully that will be after I come face to face with the Antichrist.
The flesh is so annoying and needy. Yuck.

Part of being Christian is passing on the "gift" of Christ, or rather the message. You cant do that if you're dead. But I do understand what you mean.

in a way, yes, i'm excited about the fact that after i die i'll get to spend eternity in heaven. so yeah, i guess that's true in a way.
but i also get to enjoy serving God here on earth. also, in our petty, selfish way, most people want to do things before they die. we want to be with God, but we still want to live our lives too. it's kinda complicated.

well, it'd be great to go to heaven, but we have work here to do on earth, and we need to stay here and preach the gospel to others who do know Christ so that they can enjoy Heaven when they die.
