your not dumb. if you want to find some good jokes, go to www.bored.com and look up the excuses and jokes websites from there. they make all my friends laugh.

Some people just aren't listening, aren't quick thinkers to get the joke, or are just too serious in life. Don't be so hard on yourself & don't say, "here's something funny", or "here's a good joke" because it sets you up for possible rejection. Instead, just mention a quick-witted statement (or a joke without warning the person) & leave it at that. If the person is listening, he/she may ponder what you said & laugh. It's all in the delivery of a joke & punchline. Practice makes perfect.

Maybe you just need to re envent yourself. Not all comedians are funny 100% of the time. Everyone has a bad day. Simple solution is to work at it, go to comedy school and learn what you are doing wrong.
