Well Bush, your beliefs are up to you. What exactly do you want to know? It seems like your question is "What should I believe in?", and no one can decide that for you.

God Is, transcends, is intimately and primarily associated with everything that is truly good. This statement, philosophical definite description or primitive definition is not in conflict with Catholicism from which you can learn much more about Who God Is.
Since God is transcendent as well as immanent, don't be surprised that sometimes you don't know if God exists, particularly in the light of so much existing and produced evil (theodicy)that God allows to give us opportunity to strive to transcend in cooperation with God. As you grow older you will have memories of things that you experienced when very young 2, 3 , 4 yrs old that were real and some that were dreams and sometimes doubt that the real things that happened were real. So too is God Who in totality is far greater than we can fully know here on earth.

Well, first of all, don't say "I don't know what to believe".
Just know that everything is within you and you can access it as soon as you are ready.
If you want to really decide what you believe, accept what you know.
Use facts. In Science we use facts, same with Mathematics and everything else. Use it for religion as well.
Research the history of the people of your religion. You have to be ultra comfortible and have room to breate in your religion if you want to excell in it.
As far as believing in God vs. not believing, that is a personal journey I have been on all my life. I don't think you ever "decide" or end, but you can come to a point where you are on a different road, where you took a turn or something because you changed your beliefs. I'm an atheist who used to be a Christian. I didn't leave the road I was on as a Christian, I just took a turn.
Question everything. Remember that you are all you need in your decisions.

I am a former Catholic and went through what you are going through now.
I suggest a book that was given to me by a family friend which changed my perspective on things.
Conversations with God by Neale Donald Walsch. There are three books in the series and several more after that. I don't believe everything he says word for word, but much of it rings true with things that I have believed all of my life, of which I have no other religious background information for.
I also recommend anything by Dr. Wayne W. Dyer. An extremely inspirational and love-based man.
These things may help you in your path to spirituality.
God bless you!

I would start with going to the latin mass. This helped me immeasurably. Also, get a Baltimore Catechism which will help explain all the things you've probably been questioning.
The church you are currently in is most likely not truly Catholic (as the last five "popes" have not been popes but usurpers. The traditional Catholic faith will bring you back home. I was like you once, but picked up a Baltimore Catechism and it helped guide me back home. :)

Here are some scriptures that could help you:
Know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, nor shall there be any after me. Isaiah 43:10
Jesus said, "if you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." John 8:31-32
Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God, believe also in me. John 14:1 (Jesus speaking)
Jesus said to him (Thomas), "have you believed bec. you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have come to believe." John 20:29
But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. John 16:13

You feel that way because God ISN'T real. If he were, you wouldn't be having those doubts. Why believe in any religion? Can't you live a good life and be a decent person without using some imaginary god as a crutch? Try it sometime. It's surprisingly freeing.

Why don't you read the Bible and let the Bible be your guide, instead of people- that way you will know you are being led down the right path. Study the Bible and pray. Also listen to good christian radio in your area. Moody Bible Institute (Moody Broadcasting) has a straightforward teaching and they stick to Christianity and the Bible and still examine other religions and beliefs fairly using the Bible as a guide. Search the web for their contact info., you might be able to get many of your questions (the ones that have been nagging you) answered to your satisfaction! I wish you success in this endeavor. You may email me: intstyle11@yahoo.com.

Above all, if you are having doubts, you should not doubt God himself. There is NOTHING in this world that says he doesn't exist, whether you know him or not.
The horrible scenes we say today in this world are NOT because of God...they are completely from the Devil himself...and mankind as well.
If you're questioning things...question the things being taught by your church. Analyze the Bible...ask questions, see that's what happens to adults when they grow up...they STOP asking questions! Ask...seek different religions...search for the truth, until you have found it. Never give in to the "mystery" mumbo jumbo that some religions say as an excuse...the Bible is clear and concise. Trust in God and pray for his help and guidance, and you shall find what you seek.

ur obsessing over it. What u are going through is normal and expected. It sounds like u may need a vacation or at least a little time away in a stress-free environment so u can sort ur thoughts and meditate.
Don't be bashful, talk directly to a priest with ur concerns, then talk to someone in science or whatever field is bringing ur doubts. Face it head on.

God is real!!!!!!! The catholic church were the priest of Jesus' time. They were always trying to trick Christ into doing something illegal. God is the Alpha and The Omega. Trust in the lord thy God. Talk to God yourself, go somewhere and pray for your answers and you shall receive them. Paul
