Grade A Jack*ss. Do not call him. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200.
This has nothing to do with 'dealing with a break up' and everything to do with him trying his best to demean you. Screw him.
Please, please, please. Don't call him. You'll just get more wound up in the circle of B.S.

Just because someone says they can be friends with the person who broke up with them does not always mean that it's possible. Men don't often admit to emotional pain in order to save face. There are a lot of women like this as well. His lashing out at you suggests to me that he is trying to transfer some of the pain he feels you inflicted on him back to you. When one party chooses to end a relationship against the others wishes (even if they say they agree) it really is selfish on the enders behalf to expect or want the other to remain in their life in some type capacity. Sure it may be possible down the road for two people to enter back into a friendship, but allow the "dumpee" time to heal and make that decision for themselves.

You break up with him, and then go to his bar-b-q?? Thats like rubbing his nose in the fact you dont like him as a bf any more!! Sure he agreed with you about being friends, but, it obviously hurt his feelings, which was why he reacted as he did. So leave him alone, if he wants to get ahold of you, then he will, dont make matters worse by trying to contact him, hes coping right now.

Dont call him if he wants to fix things he'll find a way without you having to call him. From what your saying you could tell he's real hurt and he hart you because he wants you to feel the same way he does. I think that the way he is acting is very imature good thing you got rid of him.

It seems like you're really not over him. After breaking up with him, why would you even go to his BBQ? That's just adding salt to his wound. So I guess, it is his way of coping. Leave him alone for a while, let him heal. If you're hurt with his words, then leave him be.

AWWW sweetie dont let him **** with you. You'll find better guys than him. He seems quite passive aggressive and i think he's mad because he got hurt or insulted because you broke up.
Dont you just wish that he could take this more maturely and talk to you eye to eye and tell you his true feelings?.LEarn from this..he's not mature enough to handle this.

Not sure of your ages, but he sounds very immature to me. You need to leave it alone. If he wants to call, let him. Don't do what he tells you to, be independent. You need to move on. So many men out there.

I think that he needs to figure out what is going on inside of him, before he hurts you or apologizes to you anymore. Just my opinion. Brando
