I dont have a bull mastiff yet....but i want one! They are a lovely breed of dog, very clever and despite the size of these dogs they are extremely soft and gentle, and i hope they are good with kids and other dogs as i have joined a rescue waiting list for bull mastiff's- i decided to find one that didnt have a home, so i could shower it with love & cuddles!! They are lovely dogs, only wish people realised how big they get before getting one as a puppy then dumping it when its to big!
I have a golden lab and a springer spaniel and i dont honestly think that a bull mastiff would be much different than the dogs i have already, its how you treat the dog as to how the dog turns out!

Well I own an Olde English mastiff and the mastiff breed in general are great dogs and wonderful with kids...as for lookin for the breed check around online but be forwarned the puppies are very expensive I payed 1800 for my female last yr when she was 7 weeks old , And alot of reperatable breeders will have spay neuter contracts if the pup purchased is only to be a house pet and not for breeding purposes breeder pups cost more then house pet quality plus a good breeder will give a health guarentee with there puppy...try www.Bullmastiff.com or just search Bull mastiff breeders there are some really good ones out there one i checked with before I decided to get my English instead of Bull was Lionheart they have their own website www.lionheart.com .....Good Luck

I have had a bull mastiff in the past named Stride and he was one big fellow. They eat a lot, and their active. You would have to take them out everyday, sometimes even twice for Stride. Grooming was easy since they have short hair. They are very powerful and I have seen a few that are quite possessive of their things.
