Well, you should put the dog's favorite treat on the other side of the doggy door. U should show it to her first and then u should move your through the door and the dog will likely follow. Good Luck!

If possible, invite another dog over (one who knows how to use the doggie door). Your dog will learn how to use the door just by watching the other dog go in and out a few times. This works best if your dog is sociable, but it is not necessary.

This best works with two people. You're holding your dog on the inside, coaxing and lavishing with praise, while the other person outside has a treat and is sticking their hand through the door. After enough tries, praise and treats, the dog will make it through the dog door. The first time is the hardest, after that it will be easier. Also make sure you do the same thing for the dog to come from the outside, in.

My dogs love their doggy door. Chiffon went trough the door while i held a treat outside and called her. Java followed her through and that was all it took.

Hold the dog's treat through the door, let her sniff it, then follow it as you pull it back through the door.
A few repeats, and she'll have it.

OPEN THE FLAP OR TAKE IT OFF ALL DAY FOR A COUPLE DAYS WHILE YOU ARE THERE. YOU GO OUTSIDE AND TEMPT THE PUP. REWARD EVERY TIME HE TAKES A STEP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION. GENTLY NOT TO SCARE HIM AND THATS HOW I HAVE DONE 23 PUPPIES! ALSO THEY WILL LEARN FROMEACH OTHER IF YOU HAVE MORE AT HOME. after a couple days try it with the flap and he already knows where it leads to so he is not scared.
