batteries are dead. The best batteries to use in a digital camera are rechargable ones. Regular batteries drain way to fast.

i have the same camera, and have been having problems out of mine as well, how long have you had it, if you still have the box and equipment i would take it back and exchange it, I had problems with mine and I have had it less than two weeks...sorry I couldnt be of more help... you may check your USB cable.. as well and make sure its not that. Did the camera stop working or is it when you hook it in to the comp because thats where I am having problems... anyway sorry i couldnt help you more
