Ripped me off to the tune of about $10,000. Been 9 years now. I'll start the answering off with, " YES THEY DO SUCK!"

While I was lying on my back unable to move and in pain (9 on a 10 scale) I got a letter from AIG saying they felt my injury was NOT WORK RELATED AND FURTHER WAS FAKED. THEREFORE, THEIR DECISION WAS TO " DENY THIS CLAIM AND ANY SUBSIQUENT HELP. THIS INCLUDES PAYMENT FOR TREATMENT UPTO AND AFTER THIS DATE." Their reasoning? I had first seen a chiropractor and later an MD. This was Jan. '97. I still have pain to this date. (By the way, when the letter was cc'd to me employer I was "released" 4 days after returning to work. Nice bunch, eh? They suck.

They didn't get to be the world's largest insurer for nothing.
If you've been ripped off then you should report them to your state's regulator who can investigate, remediate and fine them if necessary.

I don't know what type of insurance AIG provides you but I have their auto insurance and I got a great rate last year. I've had no problem with them.

AIG Life Insurance is good. But if you think they suck cus they ripped you off, file a ripoffreport. go to www.ripoffreport.com

I WOULD HAVE TO AGREE WITH YOU ON THAT ONE!!, ONE BILL THEY SAY I OWE SUCH AMOUNT SO I PAY IT AND THEN I GET ANOTHER BILL FOR 30 TO 40 DOLLARS MORE JUST BECAUSE!!
I PERSONALY THINK THERE SHOULDN'T BE A LAW REQUIREING INSUREANCE OR AT LEAST GET SOME
