There just remarks.
You might not be racist just because of a remark.
Look at jokes on nationalities-they are just jokes and many laugh. Or jokes on men and women-we laugh. But they could be called raciest
Who ever in post above ,said ba ba black sheep is right-it is how it is perceived.

People tend to think there is a racists remark when really its just a cultural difference. I have traveled and know this from experience, some people have trouble with it, others don't. Culture is defined as; traditions, customs, behavior, religion and language of people from a country or region. All countries are civilizations, and they are all different from ours. Once people understand and accept the fact they we are all humans with different cultures, will this stupid word "racism" stop being a word to cause hate conflicts that fits so well in the ignorance category.

I don't think it's racist to say you want the borders secured. It's not racist to want illegals sent back to their own country.
Calling someone a racist is just a ruse to shut people up because everyone is afraid of being labeled a racist. Pro-illegals think that if they say it enough, everyone will back off and let the whole world just walk into the USA.

When it comes to this illegal immigration debate, anyone who cares about this country and is a patriot who is against ILLEGAL trespassing criminals is going to be called a racist. It is the only real argument they try to make because they want to justify committing their crimes. It doesn't bother me what they say. As far as I and many people are concerned, they don't even have the right to be here so why let what some lowly criminal thinks even be worth consideration. It isn't.

Here are some racist remarks.
Run for the border! Leave MY country! Get legal or get gone!
I get hateful messages all the time for those comments, Where is the racism in them?
Now here is a truly racist comment, and nobody seems to take any offense at all. "All my heroes killed cowboys!" Which do you think is more "Racist"?
I believe that it is all about perception.

Being a racist has different meanings to different people.
Racism refers to various belief systems maintaining that humans can be separated into various groups based on physical attributes and that these groupings determine or influence cultural or individual achievement or the essential value of human beings.
The word "racism" itself appeared in the 1930s, both in the English language and in French. This can lead to hostility against individuals based on a perceived or ascribed "race". Racism often includes the belief that people of different races differ in aptitudes and abilities, such as intelligence, physical prowess, or virtue. Most individuals who use the concept of racial categories believe that different races can be placed on a ranked, hierarchical scale. By definition one who practices racism is known as a racist.
W.E.B. DuBois argued that racialism is the belief that differences between the races exist, be they biological, social, psychological, or in the realm of the soul. He then went on to argue that racism is using this belief to push forward the argument that one's particular race is superior to the others.
Racism can more narrowly refer to a system of oppression, such as institutional racism that is based on ideas that one race is superior to other races. Organizations and institutions that practice racism discriminate against and marginalize a class of people who share a common racial designation. The term "racism" is usually applied to the dominant group in a society, because it is that group which has the means to oppress others, but readily applies to any individual or group(s), regardless of social status or dominance.
Since the last quarter of the twentieth century, there have been few in developed nations who describe themselves as racist, which has become a pejorative term, so that identification of a group or person as racist is nearly always controversial. A number of international treaties have sought to end racism. The United Nations uses a definition of racial discrimination laid out in the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination and adopted in 1966:
...any distinction, exclusion, restriction or preference based on race, color, descent, or national or ethnic origin which has the purpose or effect of nullifying or impairing the recognition, enjoyment or exercise, on an equal footing, of human rights and fundamental freedoms in the political, economic, social, cultural or any other field of public life..
The European Union has a wide definition on factors that can but must not be reasons for discrimination: "Article 21 of the charter prohibits discrimination on any ground such as sex, race, color, ethnic or social origin, genetic features, language, religion or belief, political or any other opinion, membership of a national minority, property, birth, disability, age or sexual orientation and also discrimination on the grounds of nationality."

If you disparage a person because of their heritage or make a blanket statement about a culture, that could be racist, even if it is not particularly vindictive.
