It's very controversial. This is life and death situations. Do you know where you're going when you die? Maybe you should spend some time thinking about that. People need answers.

Religion and Spirituality are usually the most important thing in a person's life. Thats the way it should be, God sais to put him first and everything else will fall into place.

Arrogance and Ignorance go hand-in-hand. When people act arrogant usually are ignorant to something.

And when you have very strong convictions about what you believe, the idea of something else being right seems absurd to you. Deciding on what religion to believe is not a matter of preference, as some people have said. It is a matter of truth-seeking. If you read "The Case for Christ" by Lee Strobel, you will hear some hard facts about how all other religions are not based on any kind of fact. The Bible, however, has been archeologically linked to hold much truth in specific areas where it can be tested. The testimonies of Christ were written by people that knew him when he lived, leaving no room for myth to enter the picture. I don't believe in Jesus Christ on blind faith. I have a lot of very good reasons. It is the only faith that makes sense with the world I live in and holds congruency with what I know beyond a doubt to be true.

You say it so brutally. It's religion. No one is 100% sure of what happens, what heaven will be like, what hell would be like, what the end of the world will be like. This attracts a lot of people to this section, it's a really popular section. Then it's religion. Let's face it, some people here do not have the greatest view of society. (Greatest as in realistic and correct). That explains the mentality because those people make up the majority of people in American Society.

Well it's a pretty popular section I suppose. Most people are spiritualy close-minded. They have been taught one belief and one belief alone in most cases, and so think everything else just HAS to be made up, that they HAVE to be right, always. Questioning one's faiths is the only way to build healthy and strong beliefs.

Because religion and spirituality is a very controversial subject, and a lot of the time, you get arguments where people aren't seeing the other person's point of view, which then erupts into a huge mess.
