Do you know there are not now, nor will there ever be, a catholic or protestant persecuted for observing their beliefs? In John 15 verse 20 Jesus said that they had persecuted Him and they will persecute us. How do we square these scriptures with the reality we live? In john 8 verse 40 Jesus told the people that they wanted to kill Him for telling the truth. In John 8 verses 58 & 59 they were going to stone Him for saying that He was "I am". They knew from Exodus 3 verse 14 who that was. And now, because someone points out and PROVES the Sabbath, who's being persecuted? Sunday observers?

How could you say that no Christian has been persecuted for his beliefs. Why, in some countries, Christians are burried alive, burnt alive, shot, tortured, anything you can think of.

It is ignorance to say that no Christian gets persecuted! Complete and utter ignorance! Look at this for example, go to http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/local/politics/bal-md.metro16jun16,0,5412195.story?coll=bal-home-headlines
There is a news story about just that.

THe thing was that jesus and his followers were persecuted by those that did not believe in them
Any religious person will always be persecuted now and in the future as it was in the past. It does not matter if they are righteous or not . It is not a question of whether they should be judged if they are right or wrong. It is just that those who do not agree with an individual's beliefs will always critisise them.
I dont think it is right to persecute someone who is simply just telling the truth. Those that do just simply cannot accept the truth especially if it exposing a weakness or in justice caused by those themselves

Jesus Christ did tell us that his followers would be persecuted: John 15:20, "Bear in mind the word I said to YOU, A slave is not greater than his master. If they have persecuted me, they will persecute YOU also; if they have observed my word, they will observe YOURS also."
Where you are confused is: Exodus 3:14: At this God said to Moses: "I SHALL PROVE TO BE WHAT I SHALL PROVE TO BE." (or "I am" in many older versions of the Bible) And he added: "This is what you are to say to the sons of Israel, 'I SHALL PROVE TO BE has sent me to YOU.' Here God was telling Moses what His name meant, that it 'will prove to be ' whatever He needs His name to be. This is proved by the next three verses, Exodus 3:15-18, God's personal name Jehovah is mentioned three times.
Now at, "John 8:58, "Jesus said to them: "Most truly I say to YOU, Before Abraham came into existence, I have been". Here, Jesus was telling the Jewish religious leaders that he had a pre-human existence in Heaven at God's side, before Abraham was on the earth. (Proverbs 8:22), (John 17:5), (Colossians 1:17)
The Sabbath was for Jews only as part of the Law of Moses. Christ was the end of the Law. (Matthew 12:1-8) The purpose of the Sabbath has ended and is no longer a requirement for Christians.

perchance they are having hassle looking the article — "it truly is not a sort of religious persecution for all of us to assert and to instruct that yet another faith is fake. it truly is not non secular persecution for an reported individual to disclose publicly a definite faith as being fake, as a consequence permitting persons to work out the version between fake faith and actual faith. To make a public exposure of fake faith is easily of extra fee than exposing a information checklist as being unfaithful; it truly is a public provider truly of a non secular persecution and it has to do with the eternal life and happiness of the first public." No my friend, look at Satan and Judas, they were both untruthfull and look at them, no it takes people longer to forgive a lie, than accept a truthfull righteousness, thats why people people hate characters like Judas, because nobody likes to be stabbed in the back by a friend, but folks have time for Christ because he was a good man. If you lie and deceive your own conscience can destroy you, until you put the wrong, right, unless you're evil, which I doubt, then in that case you have no conscience to fight with, only my humble opinion, God Bless.
