I say both. Let me explain. When I lived in PA I said soda. When I moved to the midwest, I heard everyone saying pop. "I have a pop already, even a mom. What are you talking about." LOL I really had no clue what pop was. I even didn't know what a taco was.. LOL. So just to keep everyone on their toes, I alternate between soda and pop.
Can I have a soda? What kind of pop do you drink? And so on.

I'm originally from Oklahoma. When I was young, we called it "pop" or "soda pop." I don't know if moving to Florida was a regional change in regards to what a carbonated beverage is called, it seemed more mature to call it soda. A few years ago someone transplanted from West Virginia referred to "pop." It had been so long since I had heard that, I jumped.

I said pop when I lived in Illinois. When I moved to Virginia I changed it to soda. It must be a regional thing for some reason.

It's interesting that Wisconsin said pop. I always said pop when I was in IL, but have lived in Wisconsin 5 years now- and in the part I live in (far northeast), it's soda.

I am from Canada and we call it pop, too. If we are going out to have coffee or coke that's different. I know that coke is a trademark, but we still use it when referring to carbonated drinks. (Here at least, not speaking about Canada in general)
AWESOME 360 by the way!!!
