Garnier Fructise has a new "sleek and smooth" line of shampoos, conditioners, and straightening balms that I love. They work well on my thick wavy hair and they smell amazing.

Try using a professional straightening iron on nearly dry hair. Make sure all the kinks are out first, and try some thing by Thermasilk that helps with frizz, and thus helps with straightening out the hair. Good luck!

Rusk has permanent straightening products that you may use, Farouk, there are also serums that may be purchased OTC. Simply type in your search engine "straightening products" and don't put".com", and tons of different sites will pop up. Good luck.

I use a CHI straightening iron they run around $140 but you can go on www.ebay.com and find them for around $75-$100. They are well worth the cost. GOOD LUCK
